E. A. Fernandez IDEA Factory

The Innovate, Design, and Engineer for America Factory is a 60,000-square-foot addition to the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building. Its unique spaces and labs enable students, faculty, and staff to address 21st century challenges while also serving as venues to translate basic research into invention and invention into product. It houses several A. James Clark School of Engineering services, including the Alfred Gessow Rotorcraft Center, Maryland Transportation Institute, Robotics Realization Laboratory, Startup Shell, and the Quantum Technology Center.
