Business & Financial Services for the Division of Administration

Laptop with graphThe Business & Financial Services Unit (B&FS) in the Office of Administrative Services is a resource for all units in the Division of Administration on financial and human resources matters. The team works closely with University Human Resources, Procurement & Business Services and the Division of Finance.

  • For several units in the division, the B&FS directly supports all matters related to talent acquisition, budget, financial operations and procurement. For larger units that are staffed in this area, B&FS provides more limited support.
  • At the division level, B&FS coordinates the annual working budget and related activities, manages large-scale processes such as COLA, bonuses and merit pay allocations, and ensures consistency in processes and practices across the division.
  • For the Vice President, the unit provides monthly and quarterly financial and human resources reports, manages project and other special purpose funds, and conducts special projects.
