The Division of Administration Recognition programs encourage a sense of belonging, employee engagement, appreciation and pride among division staff. The goal of the programs is to boost morale, motivate staff and foster a positive work environment. Learn more about the programs below!
Shout Outs and Thank You's
Shout Outs and Thank You's are available for use by anyone from UMD to thank or recognize a division employee for work they've done. Let your coworker know how much you appreciate them with a premade postcard, which will be electronically delivered to them and posted on our page.
Administration Excellence
Administration Excellence is an ongoing program that recognizes Division of Administration staff for exemplifying the division’s mission, vision and values through individual or team work.
The program gives all staff members the opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication their peers are demonstrating by submitting a nomination form, which is reviewed by a committee made up of members from each unit in the division.
Annual Awards
The Annual Awards are presented to division staff members or teams to honor and celebrate outstanding achievements, contributions, and milestones within the division over the course of a year. These awards recognize a person or team that has demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, continuous improvement, or dedication to the division's mission, vision and values at an end of the year appreciation celebration.
