Shout Outs and Thank You's

Shout Outs and Thank You's are available for use by anyone from UMD to thank or recognize a division employee for work they've done. Let your coworker know how much you appreciate them with a premade postcard, which will be electronically delivered to them and posted on our page.


Administration Excellence Logo

Administration Excellence

Administration Excellence is an ongoing program that recognizes Division of Administration staff for exemplifying the division’s mission, vision and values through individual or team work.

The program gives all staff members the opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication their peers are demonstrating by submitting a nomination form, which is reviewed by a committee made up of members from each unit in the division.

Annual Awards

The Annual Awards are presented to division staff members or teams to honor and celebrate outstanding achievements, contributions, and milestones within the division over the course of a year. These awards recognize a person or team that has demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, continuous improvement, or dedication to the division's mission, vision and values at an end of the year appreciation celebration. 

The award categories include:

By highlighting excellence, the Annual Awards program aims to motivate employees, inspire others to strive for excellence, and reinforce a culture of recognition and appreciation within the division. Additionally, these programs can help foster a sense of pride among employees, ultimately contributing to overall divisional success and employee engagement.
